In Better Days
My pretty jewel, Jasper.
Kitty's not doing very well.
Fur over bones now.
Such a beautiful girl.
Can't tell from the pic, but her eyes are crystal blue.
[Update] Jasper has a problem with her thyroid (hyperthyroidism) which she is now on medication for.
In two weeks, we check to see if her kidneys are okay. The thyroid problem can mask the early stages/signs of kidney failure. Hopefully, all will be well after the next blood test.
All in All, good news.

She and her sister are in their twelvth year.
She's bone thin. On her last visit to the vet, this was of no real concern, but now she is now throwing up what she eats on and almost daily basis. She cannot eat chicken or turkey, only beef and that came up the other day. She cries all the time and I can hear her little intestines gurgling.
I fear my baby girl is a sick kitty. I wonder how our sister will handle it if Jasper goes to kitty heaven.
We are headed back to the vet as soon as I can get an appointment.
BK, so far so good; hasn't tossed her supper for 3 days (she can keep beef down), but her sister keeps raiding her food bowl, so I have to keep an close eye on them so she doesn't starve.
Oh well. Hopefully, the vet will have better news, like she's just got a virus or something.
